The food was amazing. Our waiter, Josh, was very attentive. We really appreciated his service. Met Rick, the chef. He is very personable and skilled. This was our second visit. Third time will be tomorrow night. I highly recommend Old Palafox for a wonderful dinner.

One of my favorite, newer restaurants in Pensacola, FL! BarSteak has added to Pensacola’s foodie scene with a classy and modern dining experience and delicious eats! Atmosphere: The space adorns the branding colors by implementing pops of red throughout the restaurant’s otherwise darker ambiance. Service: Our waitress was kind, answered all of our questions when we were indecisive on what to order, and brought out the food quickly! Menu items: I got their Lobster Roll with a side of fries and Creme Brulee Cheesecake for dessert! Not many restaurants in our area serve lobster rolls so that’s already a huge plus for me! I genuinely enjoyed every bite! This is a great spot for a girls night out or a date night. We truly don’t have anything quite like it in terms of ambiance, and I felt like a was in a bigger city while dining inside!

We had stopped for a couple of cocktails at the wine bar across the street earlier in the afternoon. It looks like a really nice place and the menu looked intriguing. So we decided to go over for an early dinner. The food was amazing. We had naked oysters, An incredible bowl of gumbo and a scallop Risotto that melted in your mouth. They had great craft cocktails as well. I also really loved the interior and how it was decorated to honor the old town Palafox area. We had a lovely conversation with the manager or owner ( I’m sad to say I don’t remember his name ) and Chef Eric even came out to meet us and introduce himself. Give this business your support. We will definitely return.

This past Saturday we Celebrated our Anniversary here and it was amazing. Excellent service, atmosphere was lovely, food & Dessert were delicious. Great place for a lovely night with your significant other or friends. Definitely a 5 star.

I can’t say enough good things about Old Palafox. They just opened, but you’d never know it—the food, drinks, and atmosphere are all next level. If you love great food and expertly crafted cocktails in a classy setting, this place is a must. Everything we ordered was incredible, from the small plates to the entrees. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients and put real thought into every dish. And the cocktails? Easily some of the best I’ve had. The bartenders know their craft, balancing flavors perfectly and making every drink feel special. One thing that really stood out—my pregnant friend annd I went here and they made her some of the best mocktails I’ve ever seen. She didn’t feel like she was missing out at all, which says a lot about their attention to detail and hospitality. If you're in Pensacola and love amazing food and drinks in a stylish but welcoming space, add Old Palafox to your list.

Visited today and had an exceptional experience. The bar manager (Alex) makes great cocktails and has a wonderful personality and good southern manners. I’m originally from Australia, and still could wholly appreciate all the ‘ma’am’s’ . The chef is very talented. I had the fish tacos appetizer.. super fresh cod in a crispy light batter and flavorful, slightly spicy slaw.. loved it! I can’t wait to come back and try some of the dishes on the menu! They look incredible.

We decided to go here on a whim without reservation. The atmosphere is elegant and relaxing while not being overwhelming. The service was amazing and staff were very attentive. We were not rushed to order and our waiter answered our questions. The food was amazing. We had the Filet and smash burger as well as oysters. I was able to talk to the chef who told me they have an off the menu prime rib on the weekends and let me try a piece and it was delicious. I look forward to going back.

Chad, our server, was fantastic! Great service, engaging conversation, and very personable. The food- mom and I shared the Smoked Tuna Melt... delicious! The sourdough bread had a soft center, the cheese was melted and still warm, the tuna had great flavor. Loved the salad with radish slivers served on top! The seasoned fries were a perfect accompaniment. Will definitely be back!
